Grandma's Place

What Parents are Saying

We could endlessly tell prospective families how great we think we are, but what really counts is all the positive feedback we receive from our parents and kids! We've recently gotten some particularly glowing praise from our survey and from parents who took the time to let us know! We're grateful for the kind words and now share them below:

"I'm writing this email to thank Brigit's teachers for being so sweet to her while she attended Grandma's place, particularly, Stephanie. She still talks about her everyday and says how much she loves her and frequently carries the card around that she made her. Today she yelled at her dad with the card in her hand "don't ever throw this away, it would make me cry, Stephanie is the best and she made this for me!" and I just about cried! I had a rough time in every childcare center my mom put me in growing up and to know Brigit was so happy when I was away from her makes me feel so good. We will be going to Europe for the summer! And before I started preparing for that, I wanted to be sure to thank you all. Thanks again to everyone for your kindness to my little one, she's had such good (and hilarious) things to say about her experience and grandma's place!

"the winner is: Grandma's Place! We liked CCLC and Grandma's place the best overall. But Grandma's Place won out. The building is very new, so everything is clean and in good shape. The employees really seemed to like their jobs, and to genuinely like the children. The menu looked tasty, and formula is included in the tuition. They use sign language with the infants (with charts on the walls), this was a big plus. They take the kids on field trips once they get older. They have a Spanish language program for the older kids. They also have a really nice indoor gym, which is pretty rare. They are building an annex next door, which will be done this Spring, and it will provide an outside play area as well.  Although it turned out to be one of the less expensive places, we made up our mind without any tuition consideration. Also - this was the only place that the center director called me to see how the tour had gone."

"I am SO happy with the care and attention my child receives at your facility that I am willing to commute out of my way to get her there, even though there is a daycare across the street from our apartment. Keep up the spectacular work!"

"It is with great sadness that I am writing to let you know that my child’s last day will be August 31st. My husband has been laid off from his job and we can no longer afford to have my child in daycare. Words can’t express the gratitude that we feel for all of the amazing care that you and the rest of your team have provided for my child.  Seema in particular is such an incredibly gifted and intuitive infant teacher. Her attention to detail and ability to manage my child’s disease has made it possible for me to continue with my career so that he can get the health care he needs. I will always feel indebted to her and you for all that you have done to accommodate our family. I hope that we will be able to come back to Grandma’s Place soon.  In the meantime, you always have my glowing recommendation."
